Dinorama

In Te Maunga we have been doing dinoramas.
The Titanoboa is a dinosaur.
I learnt that the Titanoboa lives in Colombia.
The reason the dinosaurs died out was because of either an asteroid or a volcano.

COLLAGE ART

In Te Maunga we did collage art.
Collage art is where you rip small bits of paper and stick it to another piece of paper making a picture.
I made a picture of a volcano erupting with two mountains behind.
The class made amazing ones.
We made them because we read a book called Battle of the Maunga and our class is called Te Maunga.

hygiene

Konnichiwa everybody, My name is Anika. I made a D.L.O about hand washing. It is just the steps on how to wash your hands.
One of my teachers is Mr Ngata. He showed us an experiment with pepper, milk and soap. First he poured the milk into a bowl. Then he put pepper in the same bowl and it stayed afloat. Third he put soap on his finger. Fourth he put his finger in the milk and the pepper drifted away.
