!MATH WEEK!

 In Te Maunga we have been doing math week.

In one of the activities we had to put numbers 1-8 into a line of 3 squares to = 12, 13, 14 and 15.

I learnt that some activities can be harder than they look, like Magic Squares.

PROBABILITY

 In Te Maunga we have been doing probability.

In the activity Seahorse Racing I learnt that it is better to go on 2 because there are many ways to takeaway numbers 1 - 6 to equal 2.

For example 3-1, 4-2, 5-3 and 6-4.

They all equal 2.

SOUNDSCAPE

In Te Maunga we made a soundscape.

We learnt to make sounds using everyday items.

We also know the trick to making a movie. 

We used sticks, paper, plastic jelly beans, our voices and a pencil on a table.
